  • The US shouldn't be restricted by deadlines. Mosul should only be withdrawn from when the city is stable. Premature withdrawal is potentially very dangerous.

  • A school is a school, and the headteacher should concentrate more on the education that goes on at the school (sorry, place of learning) than whether it's a school or a place of learning. Having said that, I am not offended at the decision to call the school a place of learning.

  • All madrassas should be investigated for signs of child abuse. Where there is child abuse, the madrassas and mosques associated with the madrassas should be closed. If this happened in a state school there would be an outrage.
